Questions fleets ask before a fleet check
Short answers. If yours is not here, email sales@nerivo.com and a person replies within one business day.
What it is
What is Nerivo?
Nerivo is fleet cost intelligence for trucking companies with 50 or more trucks. Its product, Nerivo IQ, reads the systems a fleet already runs (ELD, fuel cards, tolls, TMS, shop software), ties every line to the right truck, driver and load, and reports what was lost, in dollars, with the records behind each figure. Neri is the assistant inside it that answers questions about your fleet in plain English.
What does Nerivo find?
Checks run every night, such as unbilled detention, short pays, repeat repairs, fuel purchases that don't add up and what each truck really costs per mile, plus driver scorecards on speeding, fuel and idle. You can also build your own reports and get them by email on a schedule. Each finding opens to the ELD times, invoice lines or fuel transactions that produced it.
How is this different from the reports in my ELD or TMS?
Each system reports on its own data. The ELD knows the truck sat at the dock; it does not know the invoice went out without detention. The fuel card knows the fill was 300 gallons; it does not know the truck holds 200. Nerivo is the layer across them: one analysis, every system, matched to the same truck, driver and load.
Who is it for?
Fleets of 50 or more trucks, run from an office that already has an ELD, a fuel card and some form of TMS or dispatch software. Smaller fleets are welcome too, but Nerivo pays off most once a fleet outgrows the spreadsheet: costs come from five or six systems, a team handles them, and nobody can add it all up by hand anymore. Owner-operators and very small fleets are better served by a spreadsheet and our free calculators.
Data and integrations
Which ELDs does Nerivo connect to?
Motive, Samsara and Geotab today, through their APIs with read-only credentials you create in your ELD account. Run a different ELD? We build the integration as part of your setup, within the same 10 days.
Which fuel cards and toll accounts?
Relay, EFS, Comdata and WEX for fuel; Bestpass for tolls. Any other fuel card or toll provider is integrated as part of your setup, within the same 10 days.
Does it work with my TMS?
Yes. Loads, rate confirmations and invoices come from your TMS by API or export, and spreadsheet-based operations work too. We connect your TMS as part of your setup, within the same 10 days. Tell us which one you run when you request the fleet check.
Do I have to change anything in the office?
No. Nerivo reads what the systems already produce. Nobody re-keys data, and nothing changes in how dispatch, billing or the shop work. The output is a weekly list of findings and the emails and reports you set up.
How does Nerivo match records from different systems?
Every system names a truck differently: T-214 on the fuel card, 214 in the ELD, Truck 214 on the shop invoice. Nerivo matches on VIN, unit number, plate, card and transponder, with rules you can see and adjust in Settings, and tells you about anything it could not match rather than guessing.
Getting started
What is a fleet check?
The first step for every fleet. We connect your systems, run our checks on your last quarter, and show you the dollar figure and the records behind it before you commit to anything. It takes about ten days from first call to findings.
How long does setup take?
About ten days. Most of that is waiting for API access and the first full sync; the office spends perhaps an hour on it.
What does it cost?
Pricing is per truck per month and depends on fleet size and which systems are connected. You see the fleet check result first. Under our guarantee, if Nerivo does not find more than it costs in the first 90 days of a paid account, you get that money back.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Contact support and we take care of it; the notice period follows your agreement, since terms vary with fleet size and contract length. You can export your data before you go, and we delete it afterwards as described in our Privacy Policy.
Security and privacy
Who can see my data?
Your company's users, with the roles you give them. Nerivo staff access production data only to support you, and only with your request on record. Data is never shared with other fleets, customers or vendors, and never used to train models.
Where is the data stored and how is it protected?
In the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. Credentials for your ELD and fuel card accounts are stored encrypted and never shown again after you enter them. Every table is isolated per company, and Neri reads your data through a read-only connection restricted to your company. Details are on the Security page.
Do drivers see anything?
No. Nerivo has no driver app and sends nothing to drivers. Findings about idling or speeding go to the office; what you do with them is up to you.
See what it finds on your own fleet.
Connect your systems, we run our checks on your last quarter, and you see the dollar figure and the records before you commit to anything.
